And what is this? Aerandir calling all light bachelors that think themselves worthy of her affections to her lands. The Light Queen would like to let all know she is seeing suitors at this time, and would advise any stallion that cares for their blessed country to come and try to court her. Ah, love is in the air.

These were the only codes of conduct that the Dark Empress Laioni lived by an upholded. Under her reign, and that of her mother’s, Queen Layla, countless died, both murders and innocents alike, in an epic war between the good and the bad. War and death ravaged the land, and when all was done, the destruction was devastating. Blood ran like water. Fires seemed to burn, regardless of the fact there was nothing and no one to tend them. And all the while, standing within the sight of this mayhem, this chaos, Queen Laioni could only smile.
Years passed after the initial spark that started the war. Though there had been survivors, they hid themselves, not willing to gaze upon the destruction of their world. While some relished the bitter sweetness of their victory, others prayed. They prayed to the hueless mistress, the onyx stallion, the golden lord, and even to the blood red titaness. They prayed to the four immortal gods and goddesses who had, at one time, inhabited the land. But with the start of Vita, they had simply… disappeared. Vita and her king, Nyteic, Layla and Jeremiah, along with their mates, Oriel and Persaphine. Where did they go? Six of the most powerful horses in Dawn, simply gone.
Or are they? As immortals, they never can truly die. But how death is perceived is a strange thing. Vita’s presence can be felt at the birth of a foal and the start of all new life, and in the bodily form of the snowy dove. Her love, the mighty Nyteic, embodies the wind; gentle and calm, but fierce and harsh when provoked. Jeremiah reigns the day in the form of the life giving sun, as well as the mighty puma. Layla became the patron of the seven sins, as well as the trickster fox and the ominous raven. Persaphine, the beauty of a blue moon and the arrival of the blessing spring. And Oriel donned the chilling death of winter, as well as the vulture, whose simple presence ensures certain death.
But like all things, the light returned. Slowly, but none the less steadily, the animals and life returned to the scorched land. From the ashes, flora and fona grew, sprouting and welcoming the return of others. And with the rebirth of the land and the return of the inhabitants, followed the traits of kindness and goodness. But like the cruel ruler she was, Laioni would not stand for this. And the horses of old know why. She was the daughter of Oriel and Layla, the two most feared and respected darks known to the world. And the combination of the two…proved disastrous. She will do all in her power to keep her regime strong and keep out the light hearted fools. But regardless, some things can not be stopped.
Season: Winter
Weather: The cold has finally arrived, and with it, freezing rain and snow storms. All lands are covered in the ivory substance, but it is not all the powdery wonderland, most of it is hard-packed and more ice-like. Blizzards are rare, but not impossible, and so randomly strike all across Amanecer. Every herd must beware, and stick together, because predators are just as desperate for food and shelter as horses are. Wolves are more common to come across, so keep a sharp eye out everyone.

UNCLAIMED PLAINS (1 sub-board) To the west of the Meadow, a plain stretches as far as the Peace Keeper's borders. It is flat, it's grasses often sunbleached for the rays are rarely hindered. Small stands of pines dot here and there, but they are few and far between. It is here that those who are unclaimed come so that leads may find them. Although not all claiming is peaceful, for it has been known for enemies to capture those of the opposite alliance and turn them into slaves. So be weary who you call to, for it might be answered by the wrong equine. Moderator: Aerandir
FOX TAIL'S FOREST North of the Meadow, a great forest spans out to touch the very borders of Aerandir's Kingdom. It curves around the Meadow, both to the east and west like a border between every other land. Yet it fades before it reaches Fallen Cloud Lagoon, stretches no further east that the very borders of the Meadow, and does not intruder upon Unclaimed Plains. Most peculiar this forest is, especially how it got it's name. During the autumn, the leaves of this forest change colors, but most often they turn crimson in late fall. But the south west trees, those that touch the Meadow, Unclaimed Plains, and the top part of Fallen Cloud Lagoon, turn bright yellow, almost white. So, it looks as if the forest as a red tail dipped in white, just like a fox's. Horses come here from all over to meet others and make new friends. All alliances are welcome, for this is a place of free lance.

THE MEADOW The Meadow is the most common meeting grounds in Dawn. The meadow is a vast open plain, mostly bare of anything but a few shade trees and the tall grasses that seem to compel all horses to wander into the grassy lands. A small stream adds to the landscape, very rarely does the stream flood to become deep and wide, mostly it is barely enough to wet your feet. The stream however is just the visible part of the underground water system that keeps the grass nice and lush during all seasons but the winter.
THE HILLS OF BRUTES East of the Meadow rises a field of hills, rolling for quite a few miles. These lands are covered with the musk of stallions, for those are the only creatures that visit here. This land is a place for bachelors and leads alike to come and spend time in the company of their own gender. Blood stains the sparse vegetation, for often the many brutes do not get along. Still, it is a refuge to any colts that can not find a home, and a place to proove your worth if you just want to show others your still the toughest.

THE SIRENS SPRING South of the Hills of the Brutes, alongside Fallen Cloud Lagoon, a rocky plateau stretches out over the sea. The land seems rough, almost worthless, unless you follow the dusty path to the heart of the lands. It is here that a steaming spring lays among an oddly fertile circle of grash. The spring is almost cleanly cut out from the rock, emerald green grass bordering the hot waters and stretching out a foot before fading. It is here that mares of all alliances come to settle down and meet one another. Often times, pregnant feas find themselves reviving their tired frames in the spring's healing aquas.

FALLEN CLOUD LAGOON South of the Meadow, a misty lagoon exudes a sense of foreboding. Here, stallions and mares alike come to fight for what is theirs, or for what they want. Blood stains the deep golden sands, and a thick fog covers the earth up to a feet high. Honor, respect, land. These are just a few of the things that the horses that come here fight for.
NEW LIFE GROVES Tucked away in the center of a great forest, a collection of groves were made by Vita. These clearings are seperate, privacy and protection provided in each one. The trees are knit tightly together, except the small openings in which you must enter and exit from. Predators stray away from this mystical place, for the great mother goddess protects it herself. Here is where pregnant mares come to give life to their little ones. Stallions are only allowed if the new dam says so, for the magic of the place naturally keeps any masculine out. This is the place for new life, and beginnings of all kinds.
PEACE KEEPERS (5 sub-boards) Here, in valleys and hidden ranges, the halo-bearers have returned to their homes and are building their numbers. It is a land divided into numerous, unique, and peaceful herds. Will your journey rest in the heavenly lands of the lights? Moderators: .x.flicker, Aerandir
THE EQUILIBRIUM (5 sub-boards) As the God's own balance is destroyed the few who reside within these lands are distressed and while some have wandered far from their homes a few hold the God's ideals within their hearts. Moderator: .x.flicker
HELL RAISERS (5 sub-boards) Under the cruel guidance of Laioni, the darks infested the world like a brutal plague. With every kill, each mouth full of blood from a wounded enemy, Laioni only relished the thrill of being a dark more. Now she is rebuilding her army, for not even one blinded by war frenzy can ignore the signs of a battered legion. Moderator: .x.flicker
MIDDLE EARTH (3 sub-boards) The Middle Earth is a land in constant turmoil, the lands for the equine who refuse to believe in the gods, and the their powers, where the pagans wander following their own creed and beliefs with out the restriction of alliance of gods. They believe the gods of Dawn are simply royal blood lines and nothing more, and since they do not believe, the powers of the gods are useless against them. They are the rouges of this world, the ones who come here and no nothing of Dawn and it history, the ones who fight to make their own destiny.
